PEONY SWIMWEAR | SUSTAINABILITY

Eco-friendly, ethical and sustainable fashion is finally on the industry’s agenda and Peony Swimwear are taking a step in creating ‘swimwear that is as beautiful as it is sustainable’.
If you haven’t heard of Peony Swimwear yet then you are missing out! The Australian born brand, Peony has gone from strength to strength with huge celebrities such as Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Margot Robbie seen wearing their pieces.
When it comes to swimwear, there is no shortage of stylish and affordable brands to choose from but Peony stands out from the crowd with it’s journey towards sustainability. Since 2017, Peony took a stand to start ‘working more sustainably with the environment and not against it’.
Peony swimwear is made from Econyl™, a 100% regenerative nylon made from abandoned fishing nets and nylon waste from landfills and oceans from around the world. Each season we have seen Peony gradually introduce new sustainable processes and become more efficient in minimising their impact. They can now say 100% of Peony fabrications meet Oeko Tex Standard 100, the highest standard for ensuring responsible use of chemicals during the construction of the fabrics they use. All their processes result in 'cleaner oceans and swimwear that is good for your soul'.
We are so excited to have Peony’s new Spring LULA collection available online at Rein. LULA sets a remarkable new standard with over 70% of the fabric used is recycled and sustainable. This collection brings together a fruit salad of punchy hues- Banana, Blackberry and Sangria - which come to life in exclusive textiles and fabrications.
When you choose Peony styles made from recycled and sustainable fabric, you become part of the movement towards sustainability, and in doing so are helping to clean our oceans, clear landfills and re-use waste.
